Work on Friday is tough, working till 6.30pm. Had asked Jeslyn out to Orchard shop coz the new shop is Wisma had opened. We took bus 143 to China town to Orchard. The bus was so packed wz people... must stand wor... so sian.... den u noe all the bus got this "paper hanger" which are advertisment and are hung on the bar railings? Aniwae they caught our eyes lor.. so we just "plucked" one of them off the bars... "Future 21" ahhaa.. it was the shop that I've said before... the one the open in Wisma lor... aiya aniwae after we read we hung it back.. lolz! We were discussing on which dinner should we eat... Mos Burger? MacDonald? Long John Silver? Aiyo... duno la.... Jeslyn almost got off @ Somerset... Lucky never got off... Tot of stoping at Taka... but I wanted to go to the "East Ocean Teochew Restaurant", so we dropped off @ the bustop opposite Far East.. the one in front of the DFS shop... den walked over... ask about the Tim Sum.. quite expensive... 4 mini egg tarts cost $4.50 and the "Char Siew Puff" (Those small, rectangle kind, aiya... next time I buy and take photo and upload let u guys c la... back to the topic) is also $4.50 for 4 leh.. quite ex.. last time Jocelyn (Mrs Chan, the wife of my boss) bought for me to eat... hahah... coz I helped her to book 4D3N Bangkok for the staff of "East Ocean Teochew Restaurant". It's very nice lor.. so I wanted to buy for my Dad and Mum to eat.. but aiyo... the last order is 2pm!!! Which means I can't buy!! So much for being filial. Well guess next time have to go on Saturaday and buy lor... I had asked for the leaflet, but she said dun have.. so no choice... next time will go buy man!!!
Den we walked to Wisma and entered the "Future 21" shop... still alot of people.. flowers are outside the entrance... saw the earings.. but not like it lor.. never buy... saw clothes... not bad la.. but normal lor. The price is also average! Den we saw a queue outside den the lady in front was asking the sales girl wat is was... the sales girl replied that to join their mailing list and get a free manicure set. well.. being girls.. we also queue. lolz.. the container is pink! So cool the colour. (Sori photo not out yet, come back and see next time. =รพ)
After that we were hungry... tough ting to do is to decide where to eat.. so guess wat? We went to Taka.. Mac and KFC! I ate KFC and Jeslyn ate Mac. Geez.... wanted to call her and ask her buy the Hello Kitty for me.. but she never bring her Hp. But after the dinner we went to the counter and ask if we can buy.. the guy said can.. den I bought the Hello Kitty lor. $1.50. The Pink Colour 1! So cute!
We walked over the tunnel to Lucky Plaza and got this guy playing the recorder. Sounded very erie lor. (So bad). Walked to Paragon. Jeslyn said there got sell Tim Sum very nice 1.. so we walked there... got this Japanese Shop. A small open kitchen to show that the Chef is making "Ramen". So amusing. There got the machine for making the dough (I think) and the writings are in Japanese! Gosh!! I think they imported the machine from Japan to Singapore! We managed to find the Tim Sum Shop. The kitchen is fulled of guys wearing the chef clothes.. so crowed!! I guess the people go there to eat Tim Sum. The wooden tray is so big!
Saw Desmond (my poly classmate) there. He was the one who called me.. Guess I'm always the one dreaming.. ahhahaha.. He was waiting outside the toilet... and waiting for a girl of coz! We chatted abit.. He had ORD le.. got a temp job in Raffles Place.. never asked much. Exchanged Hp no. Den we parted our way.. didn't see the girl he was waiting for! Damn it! We walked into the supermarket and discussing about the bread.. one that has crabstick on top one... Jeslyn noe wat is it lor.. aahhaa.. we are of the same "thinking"!! ahaha.. I used to eat that bread in Poly times.. when we had to stay back to do project.. still remembered the shop which sells it.. "Four Leaves" ahhaa.. often buy the bread.. den Rootbeer! Not the A&W 1.. the big, glass bottled kind! Miss those days... okie.. back.. As we walked on... we saw the ice-cream man! So we bought ice-cream!! Yeah... It's fun to eat ice-cream... coz it's my favourite! It's a different feeling of sharing the ice-cream and eating together. I still preferred to eat ice-cream and the other person also eating.. it's fun eating together. I told Jeslyn that the uncle selling ice-cream outside Heeren is veri expensive. People sell $1 but he sell $2. I bet wz her! So we stood there.. watchin people buy the expensive ice-cream and eating our ice-cream! She said maybe the uncle's ice-cream is of bigger size.... so more ex.. ahha. same size lor.. Den it started drizzling... ahha.. so we hurried our way.. and the rain is gettinhg heavier.. Fun! Eating ice-cream in the rain!
Went OG... the new one.. alot of things to see... different from the Chinatown 1. More trendy. The swimming costumes are nice.. want to buy... aniwae... we walked from OG to Dolby Gaut... ahhaa.. there are shops at the Le Meridien Hotel.. but almost all of them are closed already. Been long time since I walked down the road..
Phew... What a long story...
