After 1/2 day work in the office, me managed to meet up wz dear and went Suntec.... for our movie, "Howl's Moving Castle".

"Howl's Moving Castle", yet another movie directed by "Hayao Miyazaki" ("Spirited Away", "Princess Mononoke", "My Neighbour Totoro", "Castle in the Sky", "Kiki's Delivery Service").

Some information you might like to know.

Title:
Howl's Moving Castle (English)
(Japanese)
Hauru no Ugoku Shiro (Japanese)

Storyline:
A plain young eighteen-year-old hatter named Sophie, who helps out at her late father's hat shop in the boring town of Market Chipping, has her life changed when an evil Witch of the Waste transforms her into an old woman. Unable to face her family in such a condition, Sophie runs away in search of a way to become young again. Along the way, Sophie helps a turnip headed scarecrow, who repays her by leading her to an amazing moving castle (which looks a bit like a giantic robort) owned by the dreaded Wizard Howl. There she befriends Howl's apprentice Markl, Howl's fire demon Calucifer, and eventually, Howl himself. Sophie then becomes the castle's cleaning lady in an effort to not only find the solution to her problem but to save Howl from his own terrible secrets as well.

My Opinion:
Howl's Moving Castle's characters are somehow or rather similar to Hayao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away". For example, Howl looks like Hauru (from Spirited away), and they even have the same haircut!. But I personally feel that if you are gng to watch such animation, do not compare the 2 movies, afterall they are of different stories. I tink I could rate it 8/10. The storyline is abit too "chim" for me to understand, so probably I would consider watchin it another time. But overall, it's a happy-ending-love story which, I like... and of coz.... the best thing is Howl's voice is actually Takuya Kimura!!!!

Well guys... after sooo much talk... need to show picz right???
